The weather outside is frightful !

After our fantastic Fancy dress Hallowe'en party and a much needed rest to recharge the batteries, we are back in action and the fun and learning is in full swing. Winter is here and brings wonderful opportunities for Nature activities, Snowy arts & crafts, Sensory learning, muffled up outdoor play and snuggly stories, icy drama activities and so much more. It's great to have our little ones back and ready for more !

Halloween

Halloween is coming and the children are very excited. Although it will be very different this year, the children are designing their own masks instead of the face painting which we usually do at our Halloween party. We are doing our best to make everything as exciting as possible, with lots of spooky arts and crafts, games and decorations everywhere. Even the fairies have their decorations up.

New beginnings, back to school and back to friends

We're all delighted to be back to school and we're doing our best to make everything as fun and as normal as possible for our children. The fairies redecorated, including a sensory wall, music wall, and outdoor blackboards to enhance outdoor play, now more important than ever. So much learning done already...

Snowdrops and Daffodils

Spring is here again and we've been enjoying exploring the gardens for all the wonder of new growth despite the weather. Valentine's DAY is gone with all the excitement of bringing the hand made gifts home for the deserving  moms  ! We've started preparing and learning all about St. Patrick and are busy making lots of decorations! Looking forward to fun and games on Pyjama day next week, excitement is at fever pitch!

With the excitement of Hallowe'en parties, face painting and trick or treating over, we're all settled to learn about the new season and make some lovely winter crafts. We've even started learning our songs for our Christmas pageant. . . Ho Ho Ho!

New term, New friends

Only 3 weeks finished and the little ones have settled in really well. Can't believe how much they've already learned, they're such an entusiastic group - the walls are full of art and their folders are full of work. Autumn is in full swing and so are all our activities, so full of wonder and awe !

Preparation is well underway for our first term of 2013/14. Walls are painted, equipment sorted, work sheets printing as we speak! Can!t wait to welcome our little ones and start their journey into the big world . . . so exciting!

Can't believe this year is almost finished, we're very busy preparing for our graduation ceremony and finalising our year books ! Very busy few weeks ahead..... teddy bears picnic, sports day, and a special visit from Jungle Dave on Tuesday, we're all so excited.
